Live and Dry goods ship separately. Our flat rates for live animals make it easy to order your pets and supplies without excessive shipping costs. All dry goods and merchandise will ship separately than live goods. Please contact us for bulk and wholesale orders and inquiries.
Live Animal Shipping Policy
All of our invertebrates shipments are shipped via; USPS Priority, FedEx 2Day and FedEx Overnight.
Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) on all orders that are held for retrieval at customers nearest USPS or UPS Customer Center. Direct shipping is available for invertebrates. LAG is provided on direct orders received at time of delivery. If your order is found tampered with or damaged contact us immediately. Please contact us within 1 hour of delivery to report any issues of DOA*. WEATHER NOTICE; we reserve the right to restrict shipping of all live orders during inclement weather, extreme temperatures or carrier effected event. Orders shipped to receiving temperatures above 95° and below 32° will only be shipped as hold for pickup. Please keep this in mind when ordering during the summer and winter.
Amphibian and reptile orders will ONLY be shipped as UPS Next Day Air and held for pickup at the nearest UPS Customer Center. Amphibian and reptile orders to receiving temperatures over 80° or below 40° will be delayed until temperatures are within policy range.
Shipping of all animals and invertebrates is on Tuesdays to avoid delays. All orders will be processed and shipped during the following shipping period. Orders placed after 2pm on Monday will be shipped the following week. Due to carrier and weather restrictions some orders may be delayed or not available for direct shipping. If your order is expected to be delayed you will be notified of the new shipping date via email.
Live animals are all shipped in insulated boxes with temperature control Cryopak phase 22 packs. Invertebrate shipments may also include a cold pack during the summer or a 60 - 72 hour heat pack during the winter. We will always do our best to account for your specific weather requirements but please take into consideration your local weather and shipping conditions when ordering. Please contact us with any questions regarding how your order will be packed and shipped.

Return & Exchange Policy
Live Animal Refund and Replacement Policy
Refunds & replacements will only issued on lost packages or held orders received as DOA. Direct invertebrate shipping is covered within 1 hour of delivery. Photographs of deceased will be required for refund or exchange. Clear pictures with visible specimens on a white background. Basic care understanding is assumed of all live orders. If you are unsure of the proper care of the animal you are interested in please contact us before ordering. Animals / invertebrates subjected to dangerous environments are not covered by our return or exchange policy.
Amphibians and reptiles are covered by our LAG policy when retrieved from the hold facility within 1 hour of delivery. Please contact us within 1 hour of retrieval of package. Whether an order is replaced or refunded will depend on availability. Refunds will only be issued if replacement product is unavailable. We are not responsibly for carrier delays or delays in package retrieval. It is the customers responsibility to be available for their chosen method of shipping.
Dry Goods and Merchandise Return and Replacement Policy
Dry goods such as leaf litter, supplements, food products and other organics are non refundable due to the nature of the product.
Merchandise refunds will only be issued for lost packages or orders damaged in transit. Proof of damage may be required for refund.
Merchandise exchanges may be made within 15 days of purchase, merchandise must be returned unworn, unwashed and with all attached original tags. Exchanges must be shipped back before replacement item can be shipped. Returned merchandise that is damaged for exchange may carry a restocking fee or void exchange. Shirts may have added logo branding printed on garment not shown in example. Added logo branding on garment is not a condition for return or exchange. Personalized items are not eligible for return or exchange unless damaged in delivery.
